The pneumological clinic seizes 38 beds within the Augusta-Kranken-Anstalt (Augusta hospital in Bochum). 800 patients have been stationary cared for during the accounting year 2006. In relation to the total number of cases - the ten most frequently treated cases in the pneunological clinic in 2006 were:

- cardiac insufficiency and shock
(heart failure or circulatory shock)
